Our voice is often the first impression we make on the people around us. Our voice expresses health, feelings, power, and personality. An injured or inadequate voice can be devastating and require therapy to recover. I understand that each voice is as unique as the individual, and I work with every client to create a tailored and unique therapy approach to improve voice and functionality. My passion for voice therapy motivated me to start this practice.

My name is Monique "Nikki" Emsellem Isaac M.A. CCC-SLP, and I am the owner of Healing Voice Center. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, and I am certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). I received my Bachelor's Degree at Muhlenberg College and Master's Degree in Speech Pathology at George Washington University. Following graduate school, I attended The National Center for Voice and Speech (NCVS) and received a certificate in Vocology, specializing in treating voice disorders. I also hold a certification in LSVT Loud, a treatment for voice disorders in individuals with Parkinson's Disease.

Prior to starting my practice, I worked in the Washington, D.C., public school system and in a private practice setting. I have extensive experience treating individuals of all ages with a broad range of conditions. My experience has taught me the importance of thorough evaluation and effective therapy. I believe in individualized therapy programs that carefully consider lifestyle and vocal needs.
